Monographs PF and Photo-Video Handbook

The size of a monograph may not normally exceed 320 Kb or the program does not allow to create it and those which contribute to increasing the "weight" of the monograph are the same photographs (now increasingly performed with digital cameras by millions of pixels.
From this comes the need to reduce in a practical way and fast is the size of the photo that maximize the maximum compression you have to make very small files.
To do this we can use one of several Power Toys that Microsoft provides for Windows.

Now if we select the right mouse button you will notice an image in the menu that opens a new item called "Resize Pictures", select it and the following screen appears:

Lasciamo selezionata la prima opzione (640 x 480) e clicchiamo OK.
Il programma andrà a registrare un'altra immagine nella stessa directory dell'immagine originale aggiungendo al nome il suffisso “small” e questa sarà la nostra fotografia ridotta sia di dimensioni che di Kb.
Tanto per fare un esempio si tenga conto che una foto alla risoluzione di 2272 x 1704 del peso di 923 Kb, ridotta con il Power Toys a 640 x 480 peserà solo 40,20 Kb.
