Clicca sull'immagine The cultural association " Friends of the Library book-Louis Raus" was born in Minto in 2006 with the objective of transforming the small school library, inside the elementary school in Minto, in a world open to the territory and each age and able to fill the void of the absence of a public library. The writer Melania Mazzucco, godmother in the opening day, called the Library L. Raus a seed ready to germinate: after just two years the library has about 3000 volumes. The Association is actively working with its volunteers, to ensure all activities related to the operation and the opening the public library's "L. Raus" (numerical enrichment of the library, cataloging, lending library).
The Association also aims to organize activities and cultural events such as theater, poetry and music expression favoring cultural workers and artists of our territory. It aims primarily to promote reading, especially among the young, through all appropriate action that will highlight the pleasure, emotions, stimuli as opposed to a vision-soaked reading of the imposition of duty and boredom.
With this intent was organized the second meeting devoted to cinema inspired great novels:
